La Brea Tar Pits
My mom and I took the kids down to La Brea Tar Pits. It was really hot and pretty crowded but, the kids seems to enjoy it and they were wiped out for the ride home!

Ethan got to go to Vacation Bible School with his buddies Caedmon and Levi. Thanks for taking him Jess! He had a great time!

The Getty Center
Erik took the day off and we went to the Getty Center with the kids and my mom. Love the garden there!

Santa Barbara Zoo and the Beach
I love the Santa Barbara Zoo! It's not too big and the kids love riding the train. The beach was a little cold but, didn't seem to bother Ethan and Jadyn.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat
Ethan saw his first play at the COC Performing Arts Center with Grama Jean, Papa, Matthew, Wendy, Amy, Ellie and Ken.
Ethan's First Day of Kindergarten
He did great! He played on the playground for a few minutes and when it was time to go in he got his backpack, said "hi" to the teacher and walked right in like it was no big deal!
He has homework everyday, even on the weekends! He tells Erik "if you want to play with me I have to do my homework first."
