School is out!
I can't tell you how nice it is now that school is out for Ethan and I. Ethan finished mid-June and my last class ended June 1st. Now the kids both go to Grama Honey's when Erik and I are at work and I don't have to work nights on my "days off." I'm really going to miss teaching but, I really need a break from something!
Father's Day
Erik and I had the morning to ourselves since the kids spent the night with Grama Jean and Papa. We spent the day with Erik's family hanging out by the pool. Erik had a hockey game in the evening. I was a bad wife and didn't even have time to buy him a card but, he did get to pick out a new barbecue.
Ethan
Ethan finished his baseball season. We signed him up for the Wm S Hart fall league that starts the end of September. He also started tennis lessons which, he seems to really enjoy.
The kids first cream truck experience! Ethan wanted Batman but, they were all out so he ended up with Scooby Doo and Jadyn got a little girl that looked just like her. Thrifty's Ice Cream is so much better but, there is something exciting about paying too much for mediocre ice cream off a truck that is super exciting!
Hockey and Softball
Erik is about half way through the hockey season. They've been loosing some close games.
We also started the summer softball season. We lost our first one but, it's always a good time. We got new jerseys and have a hand full of new faces this year. Should be another entertaining season!
