Santa Clarita 5k

Erik and I ran the SCV 5k again this year. We both finished with personal best times. Erik finish the 3.1 mile race in 24:21 (100th out of over 1200) and I was 10 seconds behind him at 24:31 (105th). It takes a lot of training for me to run that race in under 8 minute pace so, I was pretty happy. Erik seems to run that fast for fun! I even finished 3rd in my division (female 34-39) so, I got a plaque!

Superstar!
Jadyn got to be the Superstar for her Pre-K class in November. She helped the teachers all week, sat at the front of the class and put together a board about herself to share with the class. Grandma Honey got to be there for the presentation and said she was a pro :)

 

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving Day at Erik's parents house. My parents got to join us this year. It was a fun day filled with Bingo, a Constitution board game, Christmas Trivial Pursuit and lots of yummy food!

Christmas Trivial Pursuit

Disneyland

Grama Jean and Papa took the kids back to Disneyland this month. It was a surprise and the kids had a great time! E and I got the whole day to ourselves :)

Holiday Home Tour
Friday, November 30th my mom, Jean and I attended the Henry Mayo Holiday Home Tour. We got to tour 3 homes in Santa Clarita that were decorated for Christmas and enjoyed dinner at TPC Westridge Country Club. Great people watching!
