June 13'

Jadyn's Pre-School Graduation
Jadyn graduated from Fun for 4's on Friday, June 7th. We can't believe she is going to be a Kindergartner! She requested McDonald's for her graduation dinner and got to pick out her Barbie Fairies cake :)

Jadyn's Dance Recital
Jadyn had her annual dance recital at Glendale High School Sunday, June 9th. They danced to "A Bushel and a Peck", she did great! She loves to dance!

Ethan's going to be a 4th grader!
Ethan really finished out the year strong! He did great on his Dr. Seuss biography speech and improved in almost every category for his final report card!

Happy Father's Day
We made Erik breakfast and the kids got him a Superman shirt for Father's Day. Then it was off to Grama Jean and Papa's for (you guessed it) barbecue and swimming! They barbecued ribs and steak. The food was all fabulous and it was a nice relaxing day.

Scrap Weekend
Vacation! I couldn't think of a better time to take a few days off! Things have been super busy at work since it's our busy season and the market has picked up. With all the end of the school year activities and house hunting it's been pretty crazy.
Favorite quote from the weekend:
Jessica: " I mustache you a question but, I will shave it for later"

Painting a Fence
Sometimes we learn our lessons the hard way. About a week after moving out of the house we got a notice that the back fence needed to be painted. Erik and I got a few quotes but, decided we needed to save the $400-500 since we are still working on the down payment for the new house. I think it's safe to say that it's the worst $400 we ever saved! I promise the next time a fence needs to be painted I will just pay the professionals and save us the 30+ man hours it took to sand down and repaint the fence! Thanks to some last minute help from Bubba and Mark we did manage to finish... Can you tell the difference? Ok, maybe a little better :)

After sanding for 20+ hours
Finally done!
