Jadyn's Winter Recital

Sunday, December 7th was Jadyn's Winter Dance Recital at Hart High. They danced to Candy Cane Lane and she did great. We had lunch at Honey and Bubba's house after, took the annual Christmas picture and the kids played all day. 

 

Yellow/White Belts!
Friday, December 12th Ethan and Jadyn both tested for their yellow/white belts in their Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts class. The video is the form portion of the testing.

Magic Mountain
Ethan has a new favorite ride, Ninja! With two parents who didn't like rollercoaster as kids (I still don't do the big ones :)) we didn't hold out much hope for the kids liking them but Ethan is turning out to be a little more of a thrill seeker than we thought!

More Painting etc...
I'm not sure why it's always the kids rooms that get done first but we've been working on their rooms for a while and here's the progress... Painting is all done, Ethan's room is still getting a focal wall of wallpaper (that's navy blue on the bottom half, not black) and both still need the chair rail trim added but we're getting close! Jadyn's room was ESPECIALLY difficult and time consuming!

Jegel Christmas Party
Saturday, December 20th was the annual Jegel Christmas Party. It's always nice to see everyone, especially since there are so many people we don't get to see all year! The kids always have great time playing and running all over the house. Ethan and 6 girls this year!
We were hard pressed to beat last years "Mini Carl" White Elephant gift but I think this years "Mini Kurt/Lego Darth Vader" was a hit. :)

Christmas Eve
We celebrated Christmas Eve at our house. Erik made brisket, we played the Kids version of Apples to Apples, and had the first of our three Christmas's.

Christmas Day
Santa came! Ethan got a Stomp Rocket and astronaut costume and Jadyn got the Furby she has been wanting for months! After breakfast (green and red pancakes:) we went for a family run/bike ride before heading over to Grama Honey and Bubba's house, Christmas number 3!

Jadyn's 7th Birthday
46 lbs and just over 48" tall
Apparently we weren't partied out so Jadyn had her birthday party/sleepover 2 days after Christmas. The girls all had a great time and Jadyn LOVED it! She was so happy that everyone could make it.
They played balloon games, tag, bingo, ate spaghetti, opened gifts, watched movies, had cake and ice cream but, I think the video really sums it up best...
Thank you to Grama Jean and Grama Honey for helping while the guys had a Harry Potter marathon and pizza at Grama Jean and Papa's house.

Addisyn, Lillian and Reese stayed the night, they were up yapping until 11pm!
We had pink and purple chocolate chip pancakes and eggs for breakfast :)

Happy New Year!
New Year's was pretty quiet this year. The Leclair's couldn't make it since Lillian was sick so, we had a nice quiet afternoon and evening at home. Looking forward to a great 2015!
