Happy Valentine's Day
I made the kids pink, heart shaped, chocolate chip/Hershey's pancakes before heading off to work. They got to spend the night at Grama Jean and Papa's house. Erik barbequed steak (he makes the best steak!) for dinner and it was a beautiful night for a walk around Bridgeport. Erik got me stargazers that he is going to plant in the yard when it gets a little warmer. Stargazers are the flower I carried down the aisle at our wedding :) My gift to Erik was dinner and a movie on the 28th while Grama Jean and Papa watched the kids. Unfortunately, dinner ended up being at Sharkey's rather then Lucille's but it was a lovely ending to a crazy day and week.

Park is Open!
The park on our street finally opened on February 13th! Can't wait for summer picnics!

The House...

We're still working away. Erik put a few more plants in the backyard over the last month, we finished painting the laundry room and master closet and we're hoping to have some of the concrete work started by the end of the year thanks to another refi and our tax refund :)
