In January I volunteered to try out some fun LA area Architecture "hot spots" for my department chair at College of the Canyons, Dorothy Minarsch. She wrote a short book on how to see LA architecture highlights in 3-4 days so Ethan became my travel buddy for most of the trips :)
First up was the Getty Museum on January 3rd and then Babylon Court and the Pantages on the 4th.
January 5th I ventured downtown on my own. Union Station, Olvera Street, The MOCA, Disney Concert Hall, The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels and China Town.

February 3rd was Ethan's first trip to Disneyland with Grama Jean and Papa. He loved all the characters, even better than the rides! Pluto was the first character we saw and Ethan couldn't wait to check him out.

Ethan and I had pictures taken as part of Erik's Father's Day gift.
Back in December, at the Atlas Broadband Christmas Party, Erik was given a trip to Hawaii for his work on a digital file server (Greek to me). We decided to plan the trip with Patrick and Leah and spent a week at the Royal LaHaina Resort. So much fun, except for the sunburn :)
We had an early 4th of July at the Kook's house in Palmdale. Uncle Mike made giant cheese-stuffed burgers! Ethan had a great time in the spa. All Uncle Mike had to say was "cheeseburger", slap the water and Ethan couldn't stop laughing!

Festival of Trees
I helped decorate 2 trees for the Boys & Girls Club Festival of Trees this year. My friend Nina and I did a "retro/contemporary" tree and the CTI team did a Moroccan theme, "Merry Marrakech".

December 6th we attended Erik's company Christmas Party. Ethan wasn't too sure about Santa but he liked his Thomas the Train book :)
Christmas Day at Honey and Bubba's was fun but I was a little under the weather.
We spent New Years Eve at the Vernon/Serrano house. The guys (and Jenn) played poker while the girls yapped and watched the kids.
