MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Real Life...

The kids wrapped up their Fall semester and there was not a "C" to be had, all "A's" and "B's" for Ethan and Jadyn this semester! They must be adopted :)

Erik is VERY busy at work as usual, lots of new and old projects. Shield had an ugly sweater party and department gift exchange in between all the craziness.

Toll Brothers opened 2 new communities and 2 more are coming so things have picked up and the holiday parties, lunches and community events are endless!

Lande Christmas/Bunco Party

It's December, let the parties begin! First up, the Lande's bunco/ugly sweater party with Angee, Bart, Angela (Jarrod wasn't feeling well), Brenna, Victor, Paulina and Sean! SO bummed we didn't get a group picture :(

Holiday Home Tour

Saturday, December 2nd Jadyn, Jean, Honey and I attended the Pasadena Holiday Home Tour. It was great to see new neighborhoods and different architecture styles!

Saturday, December 16th was the annual Jegel White Elephant Christmas Party. Always great to see so many friends and family, have a few laughs over the white elephant gift exchange and of course lots of yummy food!

Ruben and Jane joined the party and our tradition of sitting on the stairs this year!

Our family friend, Caedmon, was in town! She's going to school at Chapman University in Orange so she drove up for a visit with the Leclair's and the kids got together.

Saturday, December 9th Jadyn and I hit all her favorite stores for her birthday shopping day. Marshall's, TJ Maxx, H&M, Hollister and a quick stop at Starbuck's for peppermint hot chocolate!

MORE PARTIES! Thursday, December 14th we celebrated at Honey and Bubba's. Jadyn's menu requests included calzones, grilled chicken, mac n cheese, broccoli, red velvet cake and peanut butter moose tracks ice cream :)

Friday, December 22nd we had Jadyn's "Friends Party" at the house, 8 teenage girls!

Wednesday, December 27th Jadyn officially turned 16!

Thank goodness the last birthday dinner with the Jegel clan isn't until January!

Christmas Eve

We hosted Christmas Eve at our house again this year. Another delicious dinner, a few rounds of "Conversation Questions", gifts and our traditional "Christmas Eve donuts."

Christmas Day

Busy day! Erik and I took a brisk walk before we opened gifts, made deviled eggs and headed to Grama Jean and Papa's for brunch with Uncle Brian, Olivia and Alexa.

After brunch we headed "over the bridge to grandmothers (and Bubba's) house" for more food and fun with Kenny, the Stotts clan and the Jegel's.

Happy New Year!

We rang in the new year at the Leclair house along with the Turner and Loper families and Erik's famous smoked baby back ribs :)  Can't wait to see what 2024 has in store!
