Tuesday, December 10th we picked up the grandparents at 5am and headed for LAX enroute to San Antonio, Texas!
Erik loves driving the Jeep Wagoneer, even with 8 of us inside!

Who let these people onto the base?!
One last picture before we go...
See you in 9 days for Christmas & New Years!

Friday, December 13th
After breakfast we piled back into the Wagoneer and headed for Weatherford Texas. We dropped Papa and Grama Jean off at their rental car, they finished their trip visiting their friend Kathy in Paris Texas.
The rest of us had a short visit with my Grandma (so sad I didn't get a picture), followed by an amazing barbeque lunch at dad and Kathy's, where we spent one last night before heading home.
Kathy made us biscuit n gravy with bacon for breakfast! I love TEXAS :)
This sunrise walk never gets old...
I think there were 12 doe in this driveway!

Ethan's Home! / The Jegel Christmas Party
Saturday, December 21st we picked Ethan up from LAX, just in time for the Jegel Christmas Party! Grama Jean wasn't feeling well but still hosted a wonderful party.
Our friends the Westcott's joined us. Nice turkey hats Will and Jessie :)

Christmas Eve
We hosted a quiet Christmas Eve. Erik smoked ribs (amazing as usual) and Uncle Kurt brought the "traditional" Christmas Eve dessert, doughnuts :)
Let the gift giving begin!

Christmas Day
Ethan and I started the day with a 2 mile 6:45am/sunrise run! After a leisurely morning of making deviled eggs and opening gifts we headed to Grama Jean and Papa's for brunch with Uncle Brian and the nieces. Next stop, Honey & Bubba's!
Honey & Bubba's new car! Pretty :)
How cute... Hoodies for all the cousins :)
More fabulous food...

Family Fun Day
Friday, December 27th Erik & Ethan hiked Towsley Canyon while Jadyn and I had morning tea and a lovely walk to kick-off her 17th birthday! We spent the afternoon at MB2, racing, golfing and axe throwing with Honey & Bubba, their Christmas gift.
Ethan and Erik beat us all at axe throwing but everyone did great for their first time!
Jadyn, Ethan and Erik. Let's do this!
I think Erik lapped us all at least once :)
The only 2 "hole in ones", Honey & Bubba!
I guess they're supposed to be good at golf since they're retired!
Lunch at Finney's: Good food & great service
