January 12'

The kids are back to school and Erik and I are back to running but, not before a long winter break! We managed to squeeze a few vacations into January and Erik's grandmother turned 93.

Texas
We finally made it back to Texas to see my dad, Kathy and my grandmother. It was Jadyn's first time on a plane and Ethan's second (he was only a year the last time). They both did great! Jadyn was a little nervous from the noise on the tarmac at Burbank but, she got used to it pretty quick. Ethan was fascinated by everything until we were up in the air. Then he just wanted to play Angry Birds on Erik's phone:)
We wandered around town, ate, visited my grandma, ate, went to see the Chipmunk movie, ate, relaxed and ate. Did I mention we ate?
Somehow Kathy and my grandmother didn't make it into any of the pictures:(

Erik and the kids did the maze. Took 29 minutes!

9 Year Anniversary
Erik and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary. We stayed one night in San Simeon to visit Hearst Castle and then stayed a night in Solvang before heading home. The weather was a little gloomy but, not bad.
Zebra's left over from the Hearst zoo. We saw them roaming with the cows and cranes as we drove into San Simeon
