Grama Honey turned 30!
Well, you can only turn 29 so many times, especially when your kids are now in their 30's! Grama Honey's birthday was actually April 30th but, we celebrated in May. Mom, Billy, Jare, Meaghan, Erik and I had dinner at Sabor (food was great!) and went to JR's Comedy Club. Of course I don't have a single picture from that night, but it was a fun.

Happy Mother's Day
Erik and the kids put together a picture scavenger hunt for me the night before Mother's Day. The kids could hardly contain themselves and told me where everything was before I could even get there! They got me lotions from Bath and Body and Erik took a day off work in June so we get to hang out for a day with no kids. Isn't that what Mother's Day is all about, getting rid of the kids for a day!
On Mother's Day we had Erik's family and my parents over. We ordered Stonefire, played corn hole and spent most of the day outside. It was nice and relaxing! Way better than waiting for a table at a restaurant!

Erik's 35th Birthday!
Erik's birthday fell on a Wednesday this year so they did lunch at work for him. I got to join them since I'm across the hall now. We went to dinner at Stonefire that evening with his parents and brother. E got a kid and wife free Saturday thanks to the grandparents and the fact that I work on Saturday's. We were going to do dinner etc... but, Erik opted to barbecue a bunch of the ribs and shrimp he got for his birthday. I call him a barbecue nerd. He loves to get online and find different ways to barbecue all kinds of stuff. He makes great hamburgers, steak, chicken... He's even done rotisserie chicken! I always tell him the best thing I ever did was go back to work because now he makes dinner all the time!
