Jadyn's 1st Dance Recital
Jadyn loves to dance. When I ask if she wants to try something else like soccer or softball she says "no, I just wanna dance" in her little voice. I think I was more nervous than she was with over 100 people watching but, all the girls did great! They danced to "3 Little Fishies." I wanted to add video but, it was too long:(

SCHOOL IS OUT!
It's official. Ethan is going to be a 3rd grader and Jadyn in going to be in Pre-K (even though she tells everyone she is going into kindergarten.) Of course there's no break in the action. Ethan started tennis lessons, Jadyn will start summer dance and they both started swimming lessons.
They are both doing great at swimming. Ethan is working on freestyle, back stroke and the butterfly! Jadyn didn't even want to go because she didn't want to put her face in the water but, she was swimming like a fish on the 3rd day!

Happy Father's Day
It was a pretty low key Father's Day. Erik got a day off from watching the kids on Saturday, thanks to the grandparents. On Sunday I made him breakfast, took Jadyn to a birthday party and we spent the day at Erik's parents swimming.

Erik's Eye Surgery
Erik finally got his right eye fixed. He had been wearing a contact in the eye that they weren't able to laser up until about 2 weeks prior to the surgery, then he had to go with no contact for 2 weeks before to make sure his eye didn't change. He was pretty much at his wits end but, everything went well and his vision is getting better everyday.
