Great Grama
Monday, September 2nd we lost Erik's Grandmother. She was 94 and lived a long healthy life but, it's never easy to let go or imagine family gathering's without her.
Some of Erik's favorite memories are of him playing in his grandparents backyard, having pancakes and bacon breakfasts (even on mornings his grandparents took him to school) and fried chicken Sunday dinners. He also developed a few food addictions at his grandparents house, chocolate milk and beef jerky (yes together) as well as chocolate ice cream.
Her service was held Monday, September 9th at Forest Lawn where she was laid to rest with Erik's grandfather. A nice reception followed at her apartment building recreation room.

Labor Day
Uncle Jare and Auntie Meaghan invited us for a barbeque and swimming. Food was great, kids had a ball and the adults had a family therapy session:)

Ethan's 9th Birthday! 
58 lbs & 52" (4' 4")

We celebrated Ethan's actual birthday (Wednesday, September 11th) at Burger King. We had a swim party on Sunday the 15th with family and a few of his friends from school at Grama Jean and Papa's house.

Moved AGAIN! and with any luck it won't be the last time...
We put in our 60 day notice in at the apartment in hopes that they would find a new renter so we wouldn't have to pay for the last 2 months on our lease. Just our luck they found someone the same week! The down side was they wanted to move in October 5th! That's means we needed to be out 4 weeks before we were planning. So we crammed everything into a POD and it's off to Grama Honey and Bubba's house for a few weeks! This is starting look a lot like the last time we bought a house :) Stay tuned...
