Spring Break
The kids had Spring Break the second week of April. We took the kids to a Frozen themed skate at the Ice Station. Jadyn loved it even though she looks way to serious! Ethan looks happy but mostly asked to get off the ice the entire skate time.
We also explored a new park, Pacific Crest. It was great for older kids and they loved it!

Saturday, April 19th I had the day off so we made the short hike over the hill to Central Park for the Easter Egg Hunt that is put on by the City of Santa Clarita. It was over lightning fast but the kids had fun!

Calm before the storm...

Easter Sunday
Easter morning we did Easter baskets, had a special Easter breakfast and let the kids play with their new toys. Ethan got the Lego Marvels video game for the Wii and Jadyn got the Lego Rapunzel Tower. The Easter Bunny left a note saying he couldn't find any good hiding places since we don't have any grass or plants yet but he hid their eggs at Grama Honey and Bubba's house! The kids left notes for the Easter Bunny too. I think my favorite question from Ethan was "Do you have weapons?" and Jadyn's was "War do yeu liv?" (aka. Where do you live?) :)
The Easter Bunny hid almost 80 eggs in Grama Honey and Bubba's backyard! The kids did their egg hunt, we ate lunch and then headed to Grama Jean and Papa's for the annual picture scavenger hunt, swimming, the dice game and lots of yummy food.

We took 50 pictures to get Jadyn to smile but we got a decent one. Funny since she's the one who's always happy, except when you take the camera out. Ethan is the opposite. He looks unhappy until you take out the camera :)
