4th Grade: 9 1/2 Years Old

Kindergarten: 6  1/2 years old

The House...
We're sure it will be a "work in progress" forever but the grass is continuing to grow, Erik planted some palm trees and boxwood bushes this month. We also started painting the "Workout Room". All I can say is "I'm over it!", I would be happy if I never painted another wall...One room down 10 to go!

We realize it looks like we are growing weeds but if you look closer there's grass too:)

The color is more grey than beige but you get the idea.

Happy Mother's Day 
Luckily I have Mother's Day off every year since Sunday is my usual day off. Erik always makes it special and offers to make me breakfast, even though I've never taken him up on it. I usually get up to go on a 6 mile run so I can't eat much after that! The kids made me cards, Ethan's included coupons to do dishes and dust! Erik got me a gift card to Nail Forum for a much needed pedicure and we spent the day at Grama Jean and Papa's house relaxing, swimming and just hanging out. The "boys" picked up Stonefire and Erik got Chocolate Cream Pie from Marie Callendars :) Yummy!
My mom and I did breakfast at Eggs n' Things a few weeks after since she was on a 3 1/2 week cruise/vacation in May!

Happy 37th Birthday!
E turned 37 on May 23rd. I can't believe we're this old! We had a birthday dinner at Grama Jean Papa's house with all of Erik's favorites (ribs, stuffed potatoes, salad, cake and chocolate ice cream). Erik  barbequed his own birthday dinner on the 23rd (steak). All I can say is I wish it was his birthday everyday!
He took the week of his birthday off to help with the kids since Grama Honey and Bubba were on vacation. I know it was more work for him to be off with the kids but I loved having him home doing laundry and making dinner every night!

Who doesn't love a good poker night?! Don't worry Angela was fine, the next day :)

The kids got new bikes! It was like learning to ride all over again but they got the hang of it.
