Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor
For our birthday and Christmas gifts this year Grama Jean and Papa got us season passes to Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor. We took the kids for their first visit to both parks this month. They're not big roller coaster fans but they had fun in Bugs Bunny World.

4th of July
The kids attended Uncle Jare and Auntie Meaghan's annual "3rd of July" barbeque with Grama Honey and Bubba. One of these days it's going to fall on a day Erik and I don't work so we can go :) On the 4th Erik and I ran the Newhall Independence Day 5k. Erik was out on a boat trip for work and had a 10pm hockey game the day before but he still got up and ran! I finished 2nd in my division (Female 34-39). It wasn't my fastest time (23:20) but it's my best finish!
On the 4th we barbecued and took the stroller out for it's last trip down the trail to watch fireworks. We sold the stroller on Craigslist since the kids are officially over the weight limit. Sad to see it go, so many fun memories :)

 Long Beach
Since we bought the house this year we postponed plans to take the kids to Maui but managed to fit in a mini-vacation to Long Beach. We stayed on the Queen Mary and visited the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Alexa and Olivia's Birthday
July 6th we had a birthday celebration for Olivia (6) and Alexa (4) at Grama Jean and Papa's house. The kids (Jadyn especially) were excited to see them. It had been 10 months!

Jadyn's 1st Sleepover
July 20th Jadyn went to her first birthday sleepover for her friend Taryn from school. It was luau themed and the girls had a great time!
