Martial Arts
Friday, June 5th Ethan and Jadyn tested for their Yellow/black belts, and passed!

Jadyn's Recital
Sunday, June 7th was Jadyn's summer recital at Glendale High School. They danced to "Walk the Dinosaur" (Queen Latifah remix from the Ice Age movie) She did great!

School's out!

Before the parties and report cards the kids both got awards this year! Ethan for Social Studies and being a part of Circle of Friends and Jadyn got the Teacher's Award. So proud of them both!

Ethan was counting the seconds to be out of school so he can play video games and not have homework. Jadyn on the other hand was so sad that she wasn't going to be able to see her friends everyday. I can't believe we are going to have a 2nd and 6th grader next year!

Happy Father's Day

We spent a lovely Father's Day by the pool at Grama Jean and Papa's house. I made Erik and the kids breakfast and we had a lazy morning before lounging by the pool for the day. Erik barbequed steak and Jadyn made the applesauce cake this year. It was all so yummy! 

Hockey

Erik's hockey season continued, I don't really know when they stop and start since he plays all year :) A friend of the team took some great pictures a while back...

Softball

The summer co-ed softball season started. We are 2-1! Pretty good start for us, that's 2 more wins than we've seen in a whole season some years :)

The House

The house projects continue! We finally got concrete for the side and backyard! We'll eventually add an awning etc... We're just excited the barbeque won't be sitting on dirt and the yard is going to look ALOT nicer, once we get the planters and grass done :)! It's still changing color while it's drying but you get the picture...
