Ethan got a birthday week! Wednesday the 9th was hot dogs at Grama Jean and Papa's, Thursday was Tacos as Grama Honey and Bubba's, Friday (the 11th his actual birthday) was Wendy's and Saturday was his scavenger hunt/video game/sleepover party with his friends!

Scavenger Hunt Clues
Jadyn broke her arm :(
Thursday evening, the 24th Jadyn was riding on the back of Ethan the velociraptor, fell off and broke her arm in 3 places! I heard it snap from about 10 feet away, ran over and knew it was broken right away. Luckily Honey and Bubba were just getting ready to drive away after stopping by so Erik flagged them down. Honey and Bubba stayed with Ethan while Erik and I rushed Jadyn down to the Panorama City Emergency Room. They got her in pretty quickly but there was some technical difficulty with the x-ray images so there was a long wait between procedures and we were there until 2:30am (5 1/2 hours).
We still can't believe what a trooper Jadyn was. She hardly cried when she did it and only grimaced when they injected the morphine into her arm and took a few minutes to straighten the bones. While sitting in the room waiting to get the first x-ray she looked up at the chart of happy faces describing the levels of pain and said "I think I'm about a 2." She was tired and closed her eyes to get a few minutes of sleep here and there but mostly yapped and watched episodes of Project Runway. I so admire her happy demeanor through every kind of situation.
