Snow Day! 

We took the kids to Frazier Park for a "Snow Day" on Sunday, January 10th for their last day of winter break. After some sledding, a little hike and building "Olaf" we had lunch and wandered around the Tejon Outlets.

Blog Books
They are FINALLY done! It took countless hours, months and years to get everything transferred into a book program and printed but I finally have 2008 (when I started the blog) through 2015 in "yearbooks". It has truly been a labor of love, I hope the kids appreciate them when they get older :)

PAINT!
It took more than two years but we finally had the main areas (family room, kitchen, nook, entry, loft...) in the house painted! Our painter Juan was fantastic! They finished in four days and it actually looks like someone lives here now! I LOVE IT! Especially the garage :)

13 Year Wedding Anniversary
Erik and I celebrated our 13 year wedding anniversary on January 25th. Thanks to Grama Jean and Papa we had a "kid free" evening of Baja Fresh and a movie at home. On Sunday morning we rode our bikes to Eggs n' Things and had a lovely breakfast outside under the space heaters. After breakfast we biked to the Lexus and Acura dealers to test drive a few cars. If I was any less rational we would have come home with a new Lexus GS F Sport but we rode our bikes home :)
In the afternoon we went to The Grove, had lunch at The Farmer's Market, wandered the shopping center and had dinner out on the patio overlooking the main walkway at The Cheesecake Factory. It was a lovely anniversary.
We are taking a trip up north to Santa Rosa in February for a Fusion Marriage Workshop we have wanted to attend for a few years now. It will be a nice little late anniversary get away...

Huntington Gardens

Grama Jean is Retired!
Grama Jean worked for State Farm for 21 years! Friday, January 29th was her last day and they paid for a nice family and friends dinner at Olive Garden on Saturday the 30th. Congratulations! It is well deserved and we are SUPER jealous!
