Ethan's Responsibility Award
Ethan received an award for the Character Pillar of Responsibility this month. He was so "excited" he couldn't tell us what it was for so we had to read the award to inform him :) We celebrated with a special desert, chocolate ice cream cones with marshmallows and M & M's!
New Height Chart
I've been wanting to get a height chart up since we were in our last house and I finally got around to getting one up in the laundry room! I figure I spend so much time in there it's where I'll see it most and I told the kids if they do what they're supposed to they'll see it everyday too! We officially have the cutest laundry room ever! It's a decal and the kids helped cut out the pieces and put it up :)
Ethan is going to be up the in the leaves soon!
Valentine's Day
As usual the kids celebrate Valentine's Day 50 times! They have an exchange at school, cards and gifts from Grama Jean, Papa, Uncle Kurt, Grama Honey, Bubba, Tanner and Logan. We made them heart shaped pancakes with M & M's and sprinkles for breakfast :)
Grama Jean and Papa had the kids over night on the 11th and they stayed at Grama Honey and Bubba's the night of the 14th with Tanner and Logan so they had a fabulous, fun filled long weekend.
Erik and I had lunch at The Habit and went shooting for the first time with Grama Jean and Papa on Sunday afternoon at A Place to Shoot.
That evening Erik and I had a tasty crock-pot (my new favorite appliance!)/pork chop dinner and took a walk around Bridgeport in the evening. Beautiful night...
There must be a lot of people who love these kids!
Papa and Grama Jean. What did you say?!
Ready to shoot!
Nothing but bulls-eyes! From 10 feet away ;)
Erik and I took a MUCH needed vacation and drove up to Santa Rosa for a marriage workshop we have been wanting to attend through Gap Community.
The drive up was beautiful and green! We wandered the wharf in San Francisco and had 3 days at the workshop with a few wonderful date night/mornings. It was a great weekend and we learned so much. We highly recommend it!
On the way home we stopped by the Serrano's house in Concord for a quick hello with Jeremy. Such a nice area and fun to see new places.
Our Rental: Cute little Nissan Sentra :)
