It was a little after summer but we finally got around to camping in the backyard. Jadyn kicked our butts at UNO two times before we conked out for the night.
Ethan is 12!
I know I say this every year but I can't believe he's 12! Once again he had a birthday week with dinners at Grama Honey and Bubba's (tacos), Grama Jean and Papa's (hot dogs), video game/sleepover night (In n Out) and we also took a little trip to Santa Barbara the day before his birthday to see Sue the T-Rex at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum and get his favorite sandwich at Valentino's.

Gotta Love Being a Landlord
September 7th our tenant at the condo (who we were starting the eviction process with) texted me to let us know they had vacated the condo the week before and did not pay the September rent. That began the 3 week process of getting the condo cleaned up and ready to rent by October 1st. A new range dishwasher, garbage disposal, kitchen faucet, floors and countless hours of cleaning/fixing (before work, on lunch breaks, after work and weekends) later we got it re-rented! I think I can safely say Erik and I don't want to do this again anytime soon.
