August 16'

School Started!
Jadyn started 3rd grade Wednesday, August 10th. Jadyn seems to like her teacher Ms. Wilkinson even though she's not as "warm and fuzzy" as Mrs. Solomon.

Ethan started 7th grade at Arroyo Seco Junior High on Thursday, August 11th. I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about the transition but he did great and seems to be liking it as much as an 11 year old boy can like school :) He's also become a pre-teen overnight and talks about "Dabbing", sings "watch me dip, now watch me nae nae." I'm old, I don't know what that all means!

Papa's Birthday
Friday, August 19th we celebrated Papa's 71st birthday with Topper's Pizza and applesauce cake. Birthday's at the Jegel's are always so yummy :)

League Champs! 
Sunday, August 28th The Fighting Cocks finished off the summer season as league champions! They finished 4th in the regular season and beat the 1st and 5th place teams to make it into the finals. The Arrogant Bastards won the first game but the Fighting Cocks won games 2 and 3 to take the series with a 3-0 shutout in the final game!
The kids stayed up a little late on a school night so we could see the big finish and of course drink hot chocolate :)
