Happy New Year!
We spent New Years Day recovering from our wild New Years Party at the Leclairs. We slept in, watched the Rose Parade on Laugh or Die with Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon (awesome!) and took down the tree and Christmas decorations.

Escape Room!
Our Christmas gift to my family this year was an Escape Room at Unlocked in Newhall. We met for dinner at Round Table (Jare and Meaghan's Christmas gift to us). The adults yapped while the kids spent every quarter they could find on "The Claw" (Jadyn won a koala and Logan won a cow) and slime.

After dinner we headed to Unlocked where we escaped The Mayfield Manor room with just 55 seconds to spare! So MUCH FUN!

Towsley Canyon Hike
Before dropping the kids off for a lazy weekend with Grama Jean and Papa we did a quick 2 mile hike at Towsley. Gotta get 'em outside!

16th Wedding Anniversary
Erik and I celebrated our 16 year wedding anniversary on Friday, January 25th. We had dinner at the Smokehouse on Main in Newhall Friday night (great food! Erik ate the whole rack of ribs!) and massages at The Ivy Day Spa followed by lunch at Salt Creek on Saturday.

Thursday, January 31st we headed for Carpinteria in the rain. Luckily it cleared up just before we arrived and we were able to walk down and have burgers from The Spot on the beach.
