Winter Break!
Kids wrapped up their first semester back on campus since COVID. They both did great and are happy to be back in person. Ethan squeaked out a 3.0 and Jadyn finished with straight A's! (We're pretty sure she was switched at birth.)

Can't believe it... Feels like we were just there!
Saturday, December 18th we were back to the annual Jegel Christmas Party at Grama Jean and Papa's after missing last year! So good to see everyone and of course the food was all fabulous!
Papa, Honey and Bubba cozy on the sofa :)
Brooke (Ethan's girlfriend!) joined us for the Christmas party this year
Merry Fr-amily Festivas!
Kept the party rolling with the Leclair's on Sunday, December 19th! Erik smoked ribs so we ate until it hurt (again!) and played a few rounds of "The Question Game". Wish I had pictures...
Christmas Eve
We hosted Christmas Eve for Grama Jean, Papa and Kurt. We played the question game, opened gifts and had our traditional donuts for desert even though we didn't make it to the candlelight service in North Hollywood this year. It just wouldn't be the same since Bob passed away this past April. He will be missed as the pastor who married us (as well as Honey & Bubba and Jare & Meaghan) but also as a very dear family friend.
Christmas Day
Christmas Day was nice and relaxing (after my 45 minute workout and 2 mile walk). We spent the morning at home having breakfast and opening gifts before heading to Honey and Bubba's. It's always good to see Jare, Meaghan, Tanner, Logan and the new addition/boxer, Rocky!
Silly girl with her Kermit puppet. Ethan gave it a thumbs up.
The Stotts Fam... Got them 49er and Giants cornhole bags this year
Jare and Rocky, all tuckered out
Played a few rounds of the question game...

Happy 14th Birthday Miss Boo Eyes, Birdie, Miss Jadyn!
5' 5 5/8" / 100lbs on the dot!
Jadyn turned 14 on December 27th! Unfortunately everyone was a little under the weather (turns out it was COVID) so her sleepover and other celebrations were postponed. She still made her cake, we had her favorite dinner (chicken tortilla), had our annual Christmas light tour and she got to open her new bedding to start re-decorating her room. Good-bye to her pretty pink stripes and flowers :(
Good-Bye 2021!
Other than everyone getting sick, and we mean EVERYONE (Us, Bubba, Honey, Uncle Jare, Tanner, the Leclair's just to name a few) 2021 was pretty good! The kids went to back to school, Erik's job continues to go well and I only had 1 W-2 this year (I had 4 last year)! We're looking forward to an even more amazing 2022!
