COVID Continued...

By the time everyone (Me, Erik, Ethan, Jadyn, Honey, Bubba, Jare and Tanner) got our test results (4+ days later) we were feeling much better. Erik and I had a sore throat, fever and body aches for 2 days. The kids had sore throats and runny noses. I can't say it was bad to slow down and work from home.

Unfortunately, our Disneyland/California Adventure trip and Jadyn's birthday celebrations got postponed but we have lots to look forward to!

Jadyn's Birthday Parties!

Jadyn's birthday celebrations commenced with dinner at Grama Jean and Papa's Friday, January 7th. Calzone's from Vincenzo's and a chocolate chip cookie cake!

Friday, January 14th we celebrated again with Grama Honey and Bubba. Jadyn's dinner request: dinosaur chicken nuggets, mac n cheese and a Oreo ice cream cake!

Sunday, January 16th the Leclair family joined us for more of Jadyn's favorite, chicken tortilla! The adults finished off the advent wine calendar and played Sequence. Good thing there's no pictures. It was a great night, we do our best thinking with a little bit of alcohol :)

Lillian and Addie spent the night, the girls made cinnamon rolls and watched movies all morning.

Jadyn's birthday gift was new bedding, paint etc. to redecorate her room. It was sad to see the pink go because she's growing up and we spent HOURS painting those stripes but she loves her "new" room.

19 Years!

Erik and I celebrated our 19 year wedding anniversary on the 25th. Sunday, January 23rd we had a "Spa Day" at The Ivy (massages, pedicures and facials) followed by lunch at Lucille's Smokehouse.
