September 22'

Ethan's 18!
He hit the BIG 6' 0" and he only weighs 125lbs!
Sunday, September 11th we celebrated Ethan's 18th birthday!
We think he got everything he wanted. Cinnamon rolls and bacon for breakfast, shooting at Oak Tree with Erik, Papa and Bubba, video games with friends and a family burger barbeque topped off with Grama Jean's chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream.
He loves a new Hawaiian shirt
Balloon party before the party
Shady characters at this party,
Nice unintended photo bomb by Uncle Kurt
Sabers and swords anyone?
Chair bowling, how lazy are these guys?!
Grama Jeans chocolate cake, Ethan's favorite!
Probably wishing for a new light saber
 Minecraft Steve from Jadyn :)

A little vacation goes a long way... Oceanside and Yap Weekend!
Everyone should have a weekend like this at least once a year! So thankful for an amazing family that runs the house like they don't even miss me!
I spent a night in Oceanside and had dinner with my friend Maria and her husband, Rick. Maria's a friend from college who is now my amazing fitness/nutrition coach. SO great to catch up!
Quick stop at the San Clemente Outlets for lunch
Got a tour of Rick and Maria's new place, only 2 blocks from the beach!
Had dinner at The LAB Collaborative and yapped until 11pm :)
Took an afternoon walk on Wednesday and a morning walk on Thursday.

Thursday, September 22 after my morning harbor/beach walk I headed to Rabbit Hill Ranch for Yap Weekend with 8 amazing ladies, I can't believe it's been 2 years! Great food, fun projects, reading, walking and most important lots of yapping/laughing with amazing women.
Morning view from the deck
Joetta, Susan, Elaine, Solveig, Jane, Sue, Betty, Dawn (my new best friend :) & Torey

Sunday after lunch I hit the road and reality set in too soon... The AC in the car decided not to work for the 2 1/2 hour drive in 100+ degree temps. I was a LITTLE sweaty when I got home! After lunch, unpacking, a grocery pick-up and taking Jadyn to swim with a friend, Erik and I hit the trail for a 9.5 mile night run/walk! Gotta get the miles in before the half marathon in Santa Fe next month!
Finished our run about 9:15pm
