Saturday, July 1st we celebrated Olivia's 15th and Alexa's 13th birthday's at Grama Jean and Papa's. Swimming, Vincenzo's Pizza and cookie cake.

Happy 4th of July!

Erik and I ran the Independence Day 5k in Newhall again this year. I'm not a big fan of having people watch me run along the parade route but it does make me run faster! And we saw lots of friends before and after, Nina and Robert, the Lande's and the Plaza's! Great to catch up with everyone!

Erik 26:35 / Torey 23:09 (2nd in the Female 45-49 division)

Later that evening we had the Plaza's over for a barbeque, FINALLY! 

Erik barbequed burgers and Jadyn and I made avocado mayo potato salad, not bad for our first try :) After dinner we chatted and walked up the hill to see the Magic Mountain and mall fireworks. Ethan had to work :(

And Summer Rolls on...

Erik and I are staying VERY busy at work and getting the Summer Grove house ready for new tenants. There's A LOT to do after 7 years!

Ethan wrapped up his summer school English class, he got an "A"! He also FINALLY used the airsoft equipment he got for Christmas almost 2 years ago! 

Jadyn finished her summer health class, had color guard/band camp for 2 1/2 weeks, passed her written permit test and starts driver's training next month!
