December 08'

Merry Christmas!
Well, I know it's before Christmas, but here's our "Christmas Card". We figured this was the most economical way to do cards this year, not to mention I can put way more pictures :) Here's the month in pictures, starting with some pre-Christmas family pics.

December 6th: Bubba, Grandma Honey, US, Uncle Jare, Auntie Meaghan, Tanner and the Kooks (Aunt Julie and Uncle Mike) in the back.
Jadyn, Ethan and Tanner
Olivia, Jadyn and Ethan

Tanner's Baptism
December 14th was Tanner's Baptism. It was actually pretty funny. A church full of small kids running around for about an hour. Seemed a little more like a giant play date than a baptism!
Tanner in his white suit and Converse. Too cute!

Erik was a little buzzed after drinking most of a bottle of Merlot.

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve we spent with Erik's family at their house. Ethan is still fascinated with the pirate ship he got and Jadyn got a little push shopping cart that she walks around the house with and dances to when it makes music.

Christmas Day!
We spent the morning at home and then headed over to my parents in the afternoon. I think the kids have more stuff than they know what to do with!

Jadyn's 1st Birthday
30.5" and 20 lbs 4oz.
Jadyn turned 1 on December 27th! She is ALMOST walking, eating regular food, drinking regular milk and yapping. She mostly says "mamama, bubububu, e , hi and wow" She doesn't know what she's saying but she acts like she does. Oh and I think she called me a cow. We had a little family party on her birthday. Between Christmas Eve, Christmas, Jadyn's Birthday and New Years I think we're all partied out!

Ethan
Ethan finished up his swimming lessons for the year. He did really well! He went from not being able to swim (starfish) to starting the backstroke (octopus, that's 4 levels in swim lesson speak.)
He's starting to learn to spell, can write his name pretty well and loves to make up his own words and tell us stories about what they mean. The other day we learned that a "splat" is something long and black that you can slip on (kinda like mud) and a "slob" is the puppy poop bin?!! He also likes to ask if you would like to "spectate" him. He asks you to "spectate" him when he's getting dressed, going to the bathroom, eating, playing... Goofy kid :)

25 DAYS UNTIL KAUAI!!
