August 10'

Hockey and Running
We don't have any pictures but, Erik's hockey season ended. Not their best record to date but, there's always next season.
Training: Erik and I are still busy training for the Marathon and Half Marathon in November. Erik is up to 11 miles on the weekends and I'm up to 9. I think I'll make it if I can just get my knee to stop hurting!

Ethan started 1st grade!
Can't believe summer vacation is over! So far so good. Ethan likes his teacher (Mrs. McCoy) and tells me "first grade work is easy".

Softball: Almost Good
Here's pictures from our awesome 4-8 season. Of course I use the word "awesome" VERY loosely! The team picture is missing a few players but, Uncle Kurt played and even Auntie Meaghan got in a few game with us this season! We don't win a lot but, we always have a good time! (Ok, except for the games we get really hammered, those aren't that fun!)
Erik and Kurt shared the "Sharing is Caring" Award for not being able to decide who should pick up a ball hit between them. I got the "Team Ambassador" Award for spending most of my time in the other teams dug-out retrieving balls thrown by our infield.

Soccer: White Ninjas
Ethan started his first season of soccer. We were so excited when we found out he is on his friend Ethan L's team! Ethan's mom, Angee is the coach so it works out great. Of course this officially makes me a "soccermom"! Especially since I'm the team mom! After 4 team color/name changes we are the White Ninjas.
Ethan L and Ethan J chillin' at practice
