December 16'

Holiday Home Tour
Saturday, December 3rd Jean, my mom and I attended the Henry Mayo Holiday Home Tour. We had lunch at Marie Callendar's before heading off to the 4 homes that were all in Westridge this year. Wish we could take pictures inside the homes.

Christmas Pictures / Tanner's Christmas Program
Saturday, December 3rd after the Home Tour we went to Jare and Meaghan's for a quick dinner and pictures before Tanner's "Christmas Magic" Show at the High Street Arts Center. He sang in the elementary school choir. Very cute and a great show.

Angee's Christmas Wine Party
Friday, December 9th was Angee's annual "Girl's Wine Party." Good friends, food, ugly sweaters and lots of laughs!

Tree Decorating
Erik and the kids helped Grama Jean and Papa decorate the tree once again this year. Jadyn and Erik help while Kurt and Ethan find ways to conveniently leave the room...
Hey Jadyn, what do you think about decorating the tree?!!
Ethan's turn to put the star on our tree

Let's Eat!
We had "Donut Monday" in place of "Oatmeal Monday" at S&S Bakery before school. Breakfast of Champions! Of course I made them split a banana and drink milk too :)

 S'mores anyone?

Jegel Christmas Party
Another great party!
Fred's new penguin hat.                     Uncle Kurt's Darth Vader is alive!
Sitting in our spot on the stairs for the white elephant gift exchange.

Ignisis Moved, Again...
Erik's company moved into the local industrial center a few miles away so we're no longer across the hall from each other :(  Here are a few pictures of the new office. They all worked really hard to get everything moved and set up.

Christmas Lights
Hot chocolate in hand to check out some great Christmas lights in Santa Clarita.

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was a busy day. We had brunch at Grama Jean and Papa's so we could spend part of the day with Olivia, Alexa and Brian. After a very yummy brunch and gifts Erik and I went home to start Christmas eve dinner (Erik smoked ribs, yummy!) while the kids stayed to play with Olivia and Alexa. Grama Jean, Papa and Uncle Kurt came over in the evening for games (we taught everyone Sequence), dinner, presents, donuts at Yum Yum's in North Hollywood and the 11pm service at First Christian Church of North Hollywood. The kids got to bed about 1am and Erik and I finally got to bed about 2:15am!

We ate our donuts in the balcony before the service :)

Merry Christmas
Christmas morning was more presents along with a walk at the park while Ethan flew the new drone he got from Grama Jean and Papa. We made a few more dozen deviled eggs and headed over to Grama Honey and Bubba's for MORE presents, games and food! Unfortunately Logan had gotten sick with the stomach flu so Jare, Meaghan and the boys didn't make it. :( Jean, Carl and Kurt came this year so we played some more Sequence... We let the boys win 1 out of 6 :)
 Year passes to Universal Studios!

Happy 9th Birthday Jadyn!
53.5" and 56 lbs
We started celebrating Jadyn's 9th birthday the day after Christmas! I took Jadyn and Grace to see SING in 3D, we had dinner at Souplantation and Grace spent the night. We hung around the house on her birthday and had dinner at our house with Grama Honey and Bubba. Friday, we had another birthday dinner with Grama Jean and Papa, Jadyn's favorite, spaghetti, cheesy bread and cookie cake!

Snowman birthday cake
More presents at Grama Jean and Papa's!

Good bye Zippy, Hello Toothless...
After over 12 years we said good bye to Zippy (our Lexus IS300). He was the first new car I ever owned, the first car Erik and I ever bought together and the car we brought Ethan home from the hospital in. It was hard to say good bye but we needed something a little bigger that the kids will be able to drive in the next 5 years!
Thank you to Grama Jean and Papa for letting us borrow a car while we negotiated the new one.
Still looks and runs great after 12 years and 87,000 miles!

Happy New Years!
We spent a quiet, rainy New Years at home this year. I got off work early and we relaxed, ordered Domino's, played games and did some Mad Libs. We all made it to 11pm but called it a night and slept in the next morning :)
Yes, those are matching leopard pj's
