January 17'

January was much less crazy then December as we eased back into the regular routine. The kids started back to school, Ethan is back to playing tennis, Jadyn started back to dance and Erik's hockey season picked up where they left off.

14 Year Anniversary
Sunday, January 22nd- Thursday, January 27th we did a Mexico cruise with Carnival for our 14 year wedding anniversary. It was the first cruise experience for both of us. The first 2 days were a little rocky since the weather was bad. They re-routed us to a day at sea before going into Catalina which worked out great since the weather turned out to be much nicer. We saw a bunch of shows: "Divas", "Love & Marriage", "Epic Rock", Doug Williams Comedy Show and hung out in a karaoke bar a few times. All the food and entertainment was good and we had a great time.
Catalina was cool and it drizzled just a bit. We walked up the hill and around town before grabbing Starbucks and people watching.
Ensenada was about what I expected based on Erik's past experience and what I had heard... It was "interesting."

The Queen Mary from our room on the Carnival Imagination
 Our freezing cold room
The Atrium for our "Welcome Aboard Party"
The Dynasty Lounge before the "Divas" show on elegant night

Had to buy 1! This was the least cheesy of the bunch :)
