World Run
Sunday, May 7th was the annual World Run. Erik and I got up just after 3am and started running at 4am! Erik ran just over 12k (7.5 miles) and I did just under 17k (about 10 miles).
Mother's Day
Erik made me breakfast, we gave the kids a cheesy egg cooking lesson and went through some old pictures and videos of the kids so I could show them why we celebrate Mother's Day :) The kids LOVE seeing pictures and videos of themselves when they were little. Before long they were both rolling on the floor laughing.
We headed over to Grama Jean and Papa's around lunch, in our matching Superman shirts :) The kids swam, we played Sequence (girls won 2-1), ate, drank, napped and yapped all afternoon. It was a fabulous Mother's Day!
Monday morning mom and I walked to Lilly's for our annual Mother's Day breakfast. Always relaxing and yummy!
Shhh! Daddy is all tuckered out...
Jadyn did this while he was taking a cat nap:)
Thursday, May 18th was Jadyn's Open House at Emblem. We toured her classroom and went to dinner at Margarita's.

Erik's 40th Birthday
Let the celebrations begin! We're going on a family cruise in November for both our 40th birthdays but it's too much fun not to celebrate now! We started with dinner Monday night at Bridgeport, just Erik and I since Honey and Bubba watched the kids. Erik took Tuesday (his birthday) off, I made breakfast, we had a couples massage, wandered the mall, had lunch at Lucille's, ordered in Domino's Pizza and took a walk along the trail. I think I enjoyed his birthday as much as he did!

Never get to blow out your candles when you have kids :)
