Slowly Getting Back to "Normal" / School's OUT!
The kids are officially out of school. Ethan squeaked out an A- in English and French (thank you Marga for your help). He got all A's and B's this semester, well done Ethan! He also started tennis lessons and an online Philosophy 101 course with College of the Canyons.
Jadyn wrapped up her elementary school career. Watch out Arroyo Seco Junior High!
We're back to weekly dinner nights and the kids spending a few nights with the grandparents. It's a nice change of scenery and good to see everyone in person vs. via Skype! It also means date nights and babysitting Waffles :)

Saturday, June 13th we had a small family celebration at our house. Jadyn picked chicken tortilla casserole and waffle bowl ice cream sundaes! She also got a new 2 in 1 laptop :)

Happy Father's Day
Friday the kids and I got some yard work done so Erik could relax over Father's Day Weekend.
Sunday the kids and I made breakfast after our 7 mile run/walk. We spent the day by the pool at Grama Jean and Papa's while Erik smoked ribs. Have I mentioned Erik makes the best ribs :)

 Ethan got to use the hedge trimmer and Jadyn is a great supervisor :)

Quarantine Traditions

We started a new tradition while in quarantine that might be a keeper. We all picked 2 places we'd like to eat dinner, wrote them on index cards and put them into a jar. Once every 2 weeks we roll a di to see who draws a card and we get dinner from that restaurant. This month was Chick fil a, we decided to eat outside at Bridgeport where we had a visitor the kids named Donald :)

Happy 40th Auntie Meaghan!

We celebrated Meaghan's 40th with a fried chicken dinner at Honey and Bubba's house. It was the first time we've seen them since quarantine started so it was GREAT to get together. Ethan was ecstatic to see the boys :) Apparently we were having such a good time we forgot to take pictures! 

I least we have a copy of the card we sent, along with some buntini's the day of her birthday :)
